TTT: Gorgeous Day Guilt

Gonna try to jump on the "Three Things Thursday" bandwagon. It certainly suits my scattered brain to ramble on about whatever is relevant in the moment instead of trying to compose a long-winded coherent entry with topics that flow nicely from one paragraph to the next.

1) Happy March!

It's a shame that so much as the thought of running sends my lower appendages into a fit of PTSD. I'll try to put my guilt at ease by making sure the Little Miss gets lots of time outside, but it'll be with some embarrassment that I'll be climbing on a bike inside instead of getting my endorphins flowing doing the real thing outdoors. I suppose in reality, no one really cares, but I still feel like apologizing to the weather gods and making sure people know that I'm only working out in the gym today because I don't have anyone to watch the kid so that I can bike outside.

2) Thrill The Hills Photo Shoot
Digging deep for the finish. Actually, just trying not
to break down and crawl.

The only pic where I'm not hiding under the brim of my hat.

3) One of the Best Damn Things EVER

My husband is sad I won't go blonde. This counts, though, right?

The best way to make coffee. Period. Unless you add an Italian barista who gives you a foot massage while you wait for it to brew. That would be even better.

Hooray!!!

Love this! Okay so I have a Keurig but 1) it's ready to kick the bucket and I have no desire to spend more money on it; 2) I think the Keurig coffee thingy's are pricey and 3) I do have a french press I received as a gift but have never used. Is it really good? Easy? Big difference? Sell me! ;0)

4 minutes to a perfectly robust cup of coffee, you can still brew just a cup at a time, and no waste from filters or K-cups. :)

Love the race photos. I have never raced a trail half marathon but I can imagine that it would be tough. Way to go!
